Green Effort — AI carbon platform
Co-product ownership and product design for complex carbon accounting, planning, and reporting workflows.
Disciplines: product-design, ux-research.
Role
Co-product owner and principal designer bridging strategy, workflows, prototyping, and delivery trade-offs.
Outcomes
- Clearer workflows for planning, reconciliation, and explainable calculations
- Interaction models that surfaced uncertainty instead of pretending false precision
- Shared language across product, data science, and customer success teams
Context
Carbon products fail when spreadsheets leak into UX. Operators need defensible outputs; buyers need narratives; regulators need lineage. Designing here means choreographing trust, speed, and auditability.
Approach
Worked iteratively through scenario-based prototyping, paired narratives with quantitative views, and made states for partial data ordinary — removing dead-ends that slow adoption.
Impact
Teams progressed from brittle demos toward flows teams could rehearse weekly with real customer data shaping the roadmap.
